Academic Qualifications
I hold a Bachelor of Science, which provides a strong academic foundation for my work in education. Guided by a deep interest in child development, I pursued specialized training in early childhood teaching. I earned an AMI Early Childhood Diploma (ages 3–6) in Sri Lanka and completed the AMS Infant-Toddler Credential Program (ages 0–3) from the USA. These internationally recognized qualifications have shaped my approach to working with multicultural children and enriched my teaching practice.

Professional Development
I believe that effective teaching requires continuous professional growth. While working as a preschool teacher in various school settings, I actively pursued professional development certifications to strengthen my knowledge of child safety, development, inclusion, and trauma-informed practice. I believe these trainings reflect my commitment to maintaining current, evidence-based standards in early childhood education.
